Situated in the leafy suburbs of historic Edinburgh, The Glenisla Hotel offers a great place to stay while touring our beautiful city. We will always do our utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, while receiving the highest standards of care and attention. The hotel is housed in a 19th Century Georgian building with attractive gardens to the front and rear. We are a small (ten bedrooms) family run hotel located in a peaceful and beautiful conservation area of Edinburgh, yet only minutes by bus or taxi to the city centre

We're right on the main bus routes, with buses running every 5 minutes. We are roughly 2/3km  from the city centre. Within local reach are Edinburgh's famous shopping streets, surrounded by galleries, gardens and the famous castle.
