Getting here:

The Glenisla is situated in a peaceful suburb approximately 2 km away from Edinburgh city centre but only metres away from several bus routes into the centre.

For guests travelling to the hotel by car, there is free on-street and off-street parking and we are close to the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720), the main Edinburgh to London Road (A1) and the M8 (heading West) as well as the Forth Road Bridge (heading North).

For guests arriving in Edinburgh by train (Waverley Station) there is a taxi rank (10 minute trip) within the station or the following buses can be caught within 100 metres of the station. Numbers 3, 31, 37 and 47 (all Lothian Buses). The journey time is approximately 15 minutes and the bus arrives within 100 metres of the hotel.

For guests arriving in Edinburgh by bus at St Andrew's Bus Station the buses to catch are the same as for the train station.

If arriving at Edinburgh International Airport, you can take a taxi straight to The Glenisla hotel or catch the AirLink Bus to Edinburgh City Centre then catch the same buses as for the train and bus stations.
